SASP – Somerset Activity and Sports Partnership are working with Yeovil PCN to provide the community physical activity service and our physical activity health coach appointments.  These will be provided on a Saturday and some evenings.

You can book individual clinician appointments by talking to the receptionist at our practice during opening hours or mentioning online your preference. Our physical activity options will allow us to offer a free of charge group GP referral service (presently a paid for service by patients) and we will be working with SASP to identify and offer this to appropriate patients.

Walking - Even the smallest effort can improve your quality of life and make you feel healthier and livelier. As walking is a very good exercise which most people are able to do, and don’t need special equipment for, then why not get started on your fitness campaign. Simply start by walking for 15 or 20 minutes at a brisk enough pace to get your heart beating faster, 3 times a week regularly. When you can easily walk for an hour you are ready to move on to swimming, cycling or running!
