Evening and weekend appointments at Other GP surgeries

You can now access routine appointments in the evening and at the weekend. Local groups of practices are working together to deliver improved access to routine appointments in the evening and at weekends.

If you are registered at a our practice, you can be offered appointments from 6.30 to 8.00pm, Monday to Friday, and some appointments over the weekend. But these maybe with other Somerset Surgeries.

Who can use the service?

Any patient registered with a GP surgery in Somerset can request a routine appointment.

How do I make an appointment?

You can book one of these appointments by talking to the receptionist at our practice during opening hours.

Where does the appointment take place?

The receptionist will advise you of the time and location of your appointment.

These improves access appointments are offered at our surgery but also at neighbouring GP surgeries,  you will be advised at the time of booking which surgery and GP or health care professional available for each appointment offered.

Health staff working evenings and weekends will have access to your medical records and will be able to provide the same high standard of care as patients would expect during normal opening times.
