If you need help when we are closed

In an emergency ring the surgery at any time.

If this is out of hours an answering machine will give you the NHS 111 Service information.

Call 999 in an Emergency. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

The free to call 111 number will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to respond to people’s healthcare needs when:

  • You need medical help fast, but it’s not a 999 emergency;
  • You don’t know who to call for medical help or you don’t have a GP to call;
  • You think you need to go to A&E or another NHS urgent care service
  • You require health information or reassurance about what to do next.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Physical accessibility

Our medical centre has suitable access for disabled patients, and all the patient areas including the waiting room, the consulting rooms and the toilets, have wheelchair access. A hearing loop is available at the front reception desk.  Designated disabled parking spaces are located nearest to the entrance of the practice.

How to make a complaint

We make every effort to give the best service possible to everyone who attends our practice. However, we are aware that things can go wrong resulting in a patient feeling that they have a genuine cause for complaint. If this is so, we would wish for the matter to be settled as quickly, and as amicably, as possible. In the first instance please ask to speak to our Patient Services Manager who should be able to resolve the issue immediately. If the matter is more serious please contact the Practice Manager and she will be able to help and investigate your complaint. Further written information is available on the complaints procedure link below.

We are continually striving to improve our service. Any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated and a suggestion box is located in the waiting area.
