Enhanced Hours access to healthcare services
To help patients access services, the practices in Yeovil working under the umbrella of Yeovil Primary Care Network (YPCN) are offering enhanced hours service between Monday – Friday 18:30-20:00 p.m. and Saturday 09:00 until 17:00 p.m. This service will provide a blended approach between individual clinician and health coach appointments and individual, group and online appointments to a community physical activity service. The community offer will be provided in leisure centres and community locations and provide relevantly qualified community professionals.
SASP – Somerset Activity and Sports Partnership are working with Yeovil PCN to provide the community physical activity service and our physical activity health coach appointments. These will be provided on a Saturday and some evenings.
You can book individual clinician appointments by talking to the receptionist at our practice during opening hours or mentioning online your preference. Our physical activity options will allow us to offer a free of charge group GP referral service (presently a paid for service by patients) and we will be working with SASP to identify and offer this to appropriate patients.
As part of the service, Yeovil PCN are also providing Covid vaccination clinics (for eligible patients). If you believe that you are eligible for an appointment, please contact the National Booking Service online or by telephoning 119.
